WHAT IS JAPAN ELECTRONICS COLLEGE?

JEC is a training school which aims to train Japanese students and foreign students from all over the world in Fields (34 courses in 7 fields) such as Web Design, CG, Anime, Music, Network, Securities, Information Process, IT, Electronics and Electrical. JEC is one of the largest training school in Japan located in the heart of Tokyo in the big city of Shinjuku which provides economic wealth and promote the realization of your studies. Since its establishment in 1958 more than 90,000 students have been trained with 60,662 jobs offered by dealing with 3885 companies. The strength of JEC is its exceptional learning environment. There is a media room equipped that is able to accommodate around 300 students for lectures and researches of students in higher education, then a “Communication room’’ to allow exchange of information between students and between students-teachers.

JEC’s library is designed to facilitate student research. It has been established with 16 000 volumes (technical manuals, newspapers and other general documents) and is fully equipped with a system of reference enabling students to search for the material by the title or the content of the literature.

 

In addition, there is a digital studio with workstations equipped with SOFTIMAGE 3DCG widely used by the CG and other industries of the game software. There is also a Music studio (3 rooms with guitar, keyboards, drums and amplifiers based) and recording equipments (pro specification Euphonix CS2000M ...). JEC has also set up a room called SE (System Engineering) for students’ presentation. This room has 82 computers installed with the 3DCG and Maya installed, also used in Hollywood.

 

And then there is the multipurpose room equipped with a DLP projector with all the latest features, capable of projecting images of U-XGA resolution.

Last but not least, teachers and staff of JEC, very open minded, welcoming, accessible facilitate the integration of foreign students in the system and permit them to realize their dreams.

 

 

JEC has developed a support system for these students throughout the training process: Job Fair, Guidance for employment, job literacy, A tour company industry seminars(meeting), interview practice for Job seekers, Career Counseling, Online Job search, e-Learning ...

CONDITIONS AND TERM OF ENROLLMENT

Admission conditions

• To completed the 12 years course of School Education
• You should be aged at least 18 years old.
• Passed the Japanese Language Proficiency Test level 2
• Get more than 200 points to the Examination for Japanese University Admission (test results are valid only 2 years)
• 80% of attendance in your Japanese language school.
• Obtain a Student visa

 

Required Documents to apply

• Application form
• Paste your ID photo on the application form, press your personal seal.
• Graduation certificate and transcript from high school
• All must be the original (not copy) with their translation into Japanese or English.
• Certificate of Japanese Study
• Graduation certificate or certificate of expected graduation in Japanese education Certificate of Japanese language education institutions attended grades (※ The number of hours attended more than 80%)
• Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) Level 2 Certificate or Examination for foreign student record in Japanese (more than 200 points and available for 2years).
• Finance-Questionnaire: Financial guarantor documents
• Letter of guarantor: As a rule, a guarantor of those living in or near Tokyo is hoped but if not, if no appropriate way to have so, your parent from your home country is ok.
• Health certificate
• Complete Medical examination within three months.
• Candidate contact form for International Students
• Paste one photos, fill out only within the frame width 3Photos Size: 3cm ×2.5cm
• Passport

School expenses

Schools fees will turn around 1.220.000JPY a year and are almost the same for all programs and courses. The textbook fee will be between 25.000 JPY to 75.000 JPY per year.

 

DORMITORY

JEC has separated dormitory for its students; the Musashino Forum for the men and the Dormitory Tanashi 2 for women. All rooms in the student dormitories are equipped with high-speed optical fiber Internet facilities allowing students with their own PC's access to the net in their own rooms.
