Kanrin Japanese School is located in Aoba-ku of Yokohama city. Yokohama is famous for its major port and its very beautiful landscapes. There is also the very famous bridge "Yokohama Bay Bridge". The school is located in the vicinity of the Aobadai Station (3-minutes by foot from the station). It takes about 25 minutes by train to Shibuya and about 40 minutes to downtown Yokohama. Students may use school computers for self-study or just to surf through the internet. There are a total of 18 classrooms available for self-study. Students studying at our institute are from more than 18 countries. They are staying in Japan with all different kinds of visas like Pre-College, Working Holiday, Family and Business visas. Once a year there is a big Speech Contest in which everybody is welcome to participate. Our students are aiming at all prestigious awards, such as Prizes received by the Minister of Justice, the Minister of Education and Science, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Governor of Kanagawa Prefecture and the Association for the Promotion of Japanese Language Education.

Kanrin Japanese Language School use an effective method to teach its student. After arriving Japan each student pass an evaluation and is dispatched in class depending on their Level.
Hard Working and consistency are the 2 core value of Kanrin Japanese Language School. The Teaching method in which classes are held, as well as their success is generally accepted. The students are taught consistent Japanese in the four basic fields reading, writing, listening and speaking. To learn to think and to speak in Japanese and an active and enjoyable class makes the lessons advance. 6 months after beginning of classes will almost all students be able not only write and read basic Japanese, but also to be able to hold daily conversations. Students will also be prepared for the every year held Japanese Language Proficency Test as well as Examination for Japanese University Admission for International Students (EJU)
As teaching material we use not only books, newspaper articles and extracts from novels, but also modern media as for example news on television. To help our students to understand Japan better, Japanese culture as well as Japanese customs etc. is also taught in classes. As a result we release year after year most of students, which passed the extremely difficult entrance exams, to universities and colleges.
Kanrin Japanese School has also a personalized assistance with responsible guidance to help you in your efforts for the selection and inclusion in the training schools and universities.
